I am trying to Register for the online course. I do not have PayPal. I am trying to Register by using visa card, however it is not going through. Can you please help me on this.

Hi, Grace. You really caught us at a bad time. I am answering you from the Philippines, and my office manager is on vacation.

I’m not sure if you have noticed but PayPal gives you the option of paying with a credit card, but they make it hard to find. It’s in small print on the page when you click to pay. Try again and look closely.

      Let me know what happens

I have already begun writing the courses out up to lesson 12. I live in New York. Do I start over in the online course or can I send in what I have and continue the rest online?

      Hi Pastor Deb,
Great question. You can definitely send in your notes and just pick up with the online course. Or we can also send you the examination questions, you can continue your DVDs, and just email the exam to Laura. You can contact Laura at kimi.laura@yahoo.com and she can get you all set up. Thanks for asking.

A group of us at church were interested in doing the SSCM course. Do we need to purchase to DVD set to do this or can we just purchase the on line course?

    • Becky Fischer February 18, 2014 at 2:50 pm #

Great question, Josie. I would recommend the DVDs for a group situation for a couple of reasons. The first is for showing on a large screen TV or projector, the DVDs will be a better quality. The online videos are great for watching on your computer screen up close, but the resolution is MP4 quality which is better for various internet speeds for the variety of people that will be watching. We did not film or edit in HD.

Also with DVDs if someone misses a class and wants to make it up, we discourage you form passing around your login information to a lot of people online to avoid people being able to access it who have not actually paid and registered. But if you have the DVDs, we allow you to make a duplicate of the missed lessons to share with the person(s) who needs it.

Also it eliminates the issue of your group wanting to meet, but the internet is down that night for some reason.
